PLEASE NOTE:

The last update of this game is on July 2019.

This project is currently on hold. Although the game can be played from start to finish, I still want to improve the overall gameplay experience. I intend to finish it (or even remake) in the future.

There is currently a public downloadable version of the current progress. It is currently released for portfolio purposes.

This is excellent! The story is executed very well, the game asks great questions. I did not find any bugs  (i give my elaborate opinion at the end of the video)

The story was really well made; under layers of metaphor and what was shown while playing. The puzzle was well made and different from other puzzles in games.  The ending  interesting as well, made the player think over what they experienced both in game and from their real life. Overall a well made game!

I loved the story and the art! The motion blur when moving is a bit much in my opinion, and the movement took a second to get a hang of. There was a small bug I experienced when going to the pause menu. After adjusting the settings, I hit back and I couldnt interact with anything, so I thought that I was just trapped in the room. I had to pause and come back to fix it.

This game was really cool if a little short

Great game Thank you for sharing

Definitely an interesting game, didn't expect the ending. I made a video of it if anyone wants to check it out.

This game is brilliant in so many ways, so I can understand why it won so many awards, in addition to this, being of asian descent, I 100% relate to what is happening in the game, so it hits a little too close to home if anything. The ending though is what really got me, I actually replayed it to try get something different. 10/10 mate, look forward to more of your work.

A very interesting and thought-provoking game. Beautiful scenery, and a tragic ending. I enjoyed this game a lot, and look forward to seeing what the finished product will be like.

Hello Adrionic, first of all thank you for playing this game, and sorry for the late reply.

First of all I watched your gameplay video and I am glad that you find something for yourself from it. I am not a 3D artist so I tried my best with the modelling and scene building (apparently there's still a lot of room for improvement). Also big shout out to my friend Li Jung who made this story possible!!

Due to lack of time in development, there are some minor story branches that did not make it to the game. And because of my school work I cannot guarantee when or how will this project continue, but I had this story concept in my mind for a long time so whenever it's possible I will revisit this project.

Again, thanks for playing, really enjoyed your playthrough!

I definitely did not see the ending coming. It was truly heartbreaking. I enjoyed the gameplay . I will link my gameplay below if you are interested.

Loved your game! 100/100

Aperture was a neat psychological experience. Wondering who the protagonist is and what happened between our parents. Realizing he's dead and reliving it all over again. Good game and I can't wait to see more from Hu Chi.

Very nice project good :) this game is beautiful !

Hello, thanks for playing this game, also thank you for liking it!

I noticed you were playing it with French subtitles. I haven't get a lot of players to test on it so the translation may be a little off, and I apologise in advance.

Very well made, I liked this one a lot. Music is amazing and it looks beautiful. Good job!

Hi GenericGoon, thank you for playing!

First of all sorry for the late reply as I was kinda busy on my personal stuffs. I watched your gameplay and I'm glad you like it. I am also relieved that you like the music as well, although the mixing could definitely be improved.

Side note: I forgot to mark some dialogue lines to be translatable, for example the one on 11:35, but yeah you get the meaning lol. (There was suppose to be a branch to the story but I did not finish that part in time so it was removed from the game.)

Overall it was fun to watch you play it, so thank you again. Subscribed!!

Bit of a P.T vibe but with a little story i liked this one thanks Dev:

Hello Shaun, sorry for the late reply.

First of all thanks for playing this game! I did reference P.T. when making this game but I did not want to just copy paste the same infinite corridor format just for "horror genre" sake, instead I wanted to make sure it fits the story of the game.

I am also very glad that you reacted to some of the set pieces I set up just as I wished to. As I tried to use little to none HUD at all to not breaking immersion, I use light and audio cues to subconsciously hint where you need to go.

Unfortunately due to project submission deadline the developing of this game was a little bit rushed, however it is really great to hear feedbacks from your gameplay, it will help me improve my games in the future. Thanks again for playing!

Amazing game!  Really enjoyed it :)

Heeey, thanks for playing my game and I am glad you enjoy it!!

Cool little game, could use an update. The story was very sad and intriguing as it is something most people can in one way or another see themselves in. The scares were good too, and I'm very glad that they weren't just pland fullscreen jumpscares. I'd whish that your choices actually had an effect on the game, not sure wheter picking the mom is going to have an efefct on the game in a future update or not. It seems a little pointless to have choices when they don't change the outcome. I enjoyed it none the less, keep it up! :)

Hello, first of all thank you for playing this game! Yes this game was a little bit rushed because the deadline for a contest submission was close and we could not polish all the details. Hope I will have the time to continue developing this title.

Also I wanted the "scares" in the game to match the story context instead of cheap fullscreen jumpscares, so I tried to use them as minimum as possible and only use them when they fit the story. I am glad you noticed that as well. Again thank you for playing and sharing your feedbacks, it's reallllly helpful!

sad story...

I prefer the family interactions more than camera puzzle in the front.

pls keep updating this
