PROTOTYPE - WORK IN PROGRESS  (Latest update: 16 July 2021)

This project is currently being remade. An earlier version of the game prototype, made in University of the Art's Game Design course, has been removed from itch. You can download it from here. Notice that the visuals and game narratives have been drastically changed now.

从游戏里面可以完全感受得到你在叙事上已经炉火纯青了。用这么简单的第一个场景完成去完成叙事很厉害。

我耐心不是很够,小女孩说完她的回忆之后(一个叫 Sarah 的小女孩在一个说着国语的环境,难道她的爸爸是台湾人妈妈是英国人?)我就没有继续下去了(1 小时候开始上课)。我和 Roger 之前在 Goldsmith 参加的时候也是玩了一款叙事类的游戏,真的坚持不下来。现在市面上已经有很多这样的游戏:Neo Cab 等。经历过这一系列的游戏的洗礼之后,感觉自己已经有某种程度的抗体,没有办法完全静下心来去了解背后的故事了。哪怕像 Kentucky Route Zero 之类的名作,玩了第一章之后就再也没法坚持下去了。

我在猜测,你目前其实比较烦恼的应该是 “加入某个公司” 还是选择 “独立创作”。你这么喜欢 The Last of Us 和小岛。肯定是不满足于这么小打小闹的。要继续往这条路走到黑,感觉无论哪条路都是一个积累人际关系的过程,寻找和你有同样想法的人去一起实现一个想法。可以试试在 LinkedIn 上寻找相关 Narrative Designer 的工作,我们的签证太难在这里找到工作了,以你目前的情况应该会轻松一些。

I really enjoy this game. Can really feel the emotion that you are trying to convey through the short narration. The visuals are simple but nicely presented. Love the theme track too!
